Seller guide

Your Amazon listing was suppressed. What to check first.

A practical order of operations for a suppressed or search-suppressed Amazon listing: read the reason, fix required data, remove unsupported claims, then draft a structured appeal.

Start with the stated reason, not a rewrite

Seller Central usually says why a listing was suppressed — a missing required attribute, a restricted or unsupported claim, an image rule, or category data that no longer matches the current template. Rewriting copy before reading the reason wastes the fastest fix. Pull the exact suppression notice and work from its own words.

Check data completeness before persuasion

Most suppressions are mechanical: an empty required field, an oversized title, a missing bullet, or stale category attributes. Compare the listing against the current category requirements field by field and fix what is measurably missing or over limit first.

Remove claims you cannot support

Health, safety, certification, and superlative claims that lack evidence are a common suppression trigger and a policy risk even when the listing is live. Strip or substantiate them before asking for reinstatement.

Appeal with structure, not emotion

A reinstatement request that states the cause, the concrete fixes already made, and the prevention step reads faster than a complaint. Only claim fixes you have actually completed — invented actions make later appeals harder.

Tools that help with this

Every paid output is a draft for your review before you publish, appeal, or activate anything. Friday does not access your seller account.
