How do I reconcile Faire commission, new-retailer fees, and payout?

Recompute seller-supplied first-order and reorder commission terms, isolate the new-retailer fee, and compare payout without deciding order eligibility.

Export one complete payout window without retailer identity

Choose a closed date range and one reporting currency. Keep a seller-owned reference, completed-order date, optional order alias, gross order amount, seller-marked first-order-new-retailer or reorder regime, both recorded fee components, and recorded payout. Remove retailer names, contacts, addresses, bank details, payment instruments, messages, and raw marketplace order identifiers. Use the payout CSV and order detail only as authorized sources; do not copy customer data into the arithmetic input.

Supply dated terms and the regime as observations

Record the seller-supplied first-order commission rate, reorder commission rate, and new-retailer flat fee that belong to the source period. Mark each row with the regime shown in the seller's record rather than asking the tool to infer whether the retailer was new, returning, or sourced through Faire Direct. Rates may be equal and the flat fee may be zero. Historical rows should not inherit today's public terms or a guessed geographic or program exception.

Recompute commission and flat fee independently

Multiply gross order amount by the supplied rate for the marked regime and round the commission once to cents. Apply the seller-supplied new-retailer flat fee only to rows marked first-order-new-retailer, then subtract both recomputed components from gross order amount to rebuild the bounded payout identity. Compare commission, flat fee, and payout independently within a seller-selected tolerance so offsetting component errors cannot disappear inside a matching payout total.

Separate fee exposure from payout timing

Rank rows with both component and payout differences first, then fee-only, payout-only, and clear rows. Keep possible recorded-above-recomputed fees, recorded-below-recomputed fees, payout shortfalls, and recorded-above-recomputed payouts in separate totals. Do not label a pending standard payout as a shortfall merely because cash has not reached the bank. Payout speed, reserve, processing, refund, and timing questions require their own dated source evidence outside this fee identity.

Verify source eligibility and adjustments before escalating

For each queued alias, inspect the authorized order and payout rows for regime, Faire Direct treatment, commission basis, current terms for that date, payment-processing charges outside the bounded identity, refunds, cancellations, promotions, credits, reserves, and adjustments. The recompute does not prove Faire charged the wrong fee or owes a payout. Friday reads no Faire account, decides no retailer regime, contacts no retailer, files no dispute, moves no money, changes no order, and publishes nothing.

Tools that help with this

Prices below are exact x402 per-call prices. Human card checkout uses fixed $3, $9, and $29 bundles; follow a tool page to see its applicable bundle.

Every paid output is a draft for your review before you publish, appeal, or activate anything. Friday does not access your seller account.
